Living with Diabetes (FREE program)

Good blood sugar control has been shown to reduce the risk of diabetes-related complications, including nerve damage, heart disease, kidney disease, stroke and blindness. Taught by certified diabetes educators, the Living with Diabetes class provides education on treatment, including diet, exercise and medications.

Class locations include Greeneville, Jefferson City, Knoxville, Strawberry Plains, Powell, Maryville, Lenoir City, Kingston, Seymour, Maynardville, Oak Ridge, and Sevierville. Webinar option is also available.

After attending Living with Diabetes you will have access to:

  • Quarterly email newsletters highlighting tips and techniques to help drive your daily management routine and keep you on track
  • Quarterly Diabetes Support Group Meetings held at our Central location and featuring speakers presenting on a variety of diabetes-related topics.
  • Quarterly webinar Living with Diabetes: Beyond Fundamentals focusing on advanced management skills and building on the principles learned in the Living with Diabetes class.
