Summit Family Medicine in Greeneville has opened a satellite clinic in Surgoinsville, Tennessee. Located at 3353 Highway 11W, Summit Family Medicine Surgoinsville serves the primary healthcare needs of the Hawkins County community.
Community members are invited to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony for the new location at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, Feb. 27, followed by an open house from 3-6 p.m.
Patient care at Summit Family Medicine Surgoinsville is provided by nurse practitioner Susan Flaglor, as well as visiting providers from Summit Family Medicine in Greeneville, including Dr. Jaime Oakley, Dr. Craig Schmalzried and nurse practitioner Pamela Shockey. Tammy Jeffers is the practice manager.
“This new clinic allows Summit Family Medicine to deliver convenience and excellence in primary care to the people of Surgoinsville and extends Summit services to Hawkins County,” Summit Medical Group CEO Ed Curtis said. “Whether keeping your family healthy or providing a physical exam for your job, we are proud to serve the Surgoinsville community.”
In addition to all primary care services, Summit Family Medicine Surgoinsville provides on-site laboratory services, Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examinations, workers’ compensation independent medical examination, pre-employment physical exams, drug screening services and more.
