InterFaith Health Clinic, Summit Medical Group host ‘Doctors vs. Lawyers’ Trivia Night fundraiser

InterFaith Health Clinic has partnered together with Summit Medical Group for a team trivia competition pitting two professional groups against one another. "Doctors vs. Lawyers" Trivia Night will bring together the medical and legal communities in a spirit of healthy competition, all for a good cause: raising money to provide health care for the underserved.

This Western-themed evening will be an epic battle of wits and brawn as we see which group of professionals has the smarts to win it all. This first-time event, held at Bridgewater Event Center on Friday, June 22, from 6:30-9 p.m., hopes to raise $50,000 in order to provide greater health care opportunities for the working uninsured in our community.

There will be several angles of competition throughout the event: which team purchases the most tables prior to the event, which team wins the general knowledge team trivia competition and which team raises the most money the night of the event. The winning side will be entitled to the coveted Golden Brain trophy as a demonstration of which side is the "smartest" in this year’s competition. All tables playing for the "doctors" must include at least two doctors or medical providers as guests. All tables playing for the "lawyers" must include at least two lawyers as guests.

InterFaith Health Clinic, which provides medical, dental and mental health care to the working uninsured and underserved, hosts two trivia events throughout the year to raise money and awareness of the clinic’s services. Trick-or-Trivia Night, open to all members of the community, will be held on October 25 with a Halloween theme.
